MD-120 is also composed by 2 backplates, but the technical requirement is strict and hard to produce. In theory, this kind of construction has a wider frequency response range because of its large diaphragm. It is suitable for high end microphones.
This head voice is of single side, uni-directional. The 34mm diaphragm is full gold-plated.The thickness of diaphragm is 3 micron. The outer circle is made of copper.
